DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes [44 Pa.B. 4624]
[Saturday, July 19, 2014]The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P. S. §§ 1381.1—1381.3), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following is the property available for sale by the Department.
Towanda Borough, Bradford County. Location of property-approximately 0.5 mile north of Chestnut Street in Towanda Borough; and 80` + west of the cartway for Merrill Parkway or 175` + east of the cartway for William Street. The parcel contains 8,497 square feet of unimproved land. The estimated fair market value is $6,000.
Interested public agencies are invited to express their interest in purchasing the site within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to Jeffrey M. Wenner, R/W Administrator, Department of Transportation, P. O. Box 218, Montoursville, PA 17754.
