INSURANCE DEPARTMENT Keystone Health Plan Central; Group Business Premium Rate Increase [32 Pa.B. 3051] On June 6, 2002, Keystone Health Plan Central submitted its annual rate filing to the Insurance Department (Department) requesting a rate increase to its base plans of 13.30% in its Lehigh Valley service area, 13.42% in its Harrisburg service area and 18.12% in its Northern Tier service area. This filing will affect 13,370 contracts in its Lehigh Valley service area, 34,517 contracts in its Harrisburg service area and 4,131 contracts in its Northern Tier service area, resulting in an estimated revenue increase of $33.3 million annually. The proposed effective date of this increase is October 1, 2002.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg, PA.
