Aetna HealthAssurance of Pennsylvania, Inc.; Small Group Off-Exchange; Rate Filing [46 Pa.B. 3167]
[Saturday, June 18, 2016]Aetna HealthAssurance of Pennsylvania, Inc. submitted a rate filing to increase the premium rates for its Small Group ACA compliant plans renewing on or after October 1, 2016. The filing proposes an aggregate rate increase of 21.1% to the rates these insureds are currently charged, ranging from 16.0% to 34.7%. The revised rates will affect approximately 26,468 members and the rate change proposed in this filing would generate approximately $20.8 million of additional annual revenue.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to September 1, 2016, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
