     On March 4, 2010, John C. Rodenbough, license nos. RN543750 and PN082997L, of Phoenixville, Chester County had his licenses suspended for no less than 3 years, retroactive January 7, 2010, based on findings that he is unable to practice nursing with reasonable skill and safety to patients by reason of mental or physical illness or condition or physiological or psychological dependence upon alcohol, hallucinogenic or narcotic drugs or other drugs which tend to impair judgment or coordination.

     Individuals may obtain a copy of the adjudication by writing to C. William Fritz, II, Board Counsel, State Board of Nursing, P. O. Box 2649, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2649.

     This final adjudication and order represents the State Board of Nursing's (Board) final decision in this matter. It may be appealed to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania by the filing of a petition for review with that court in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure. Individuals who take an appeal to the Commonwealth Court, must serve the Board with a copy of their petition for review. The Board contact for receiving service of the appeals is the previously-named Board Counsel.
