    Proposed Exchange of Lands between DCNR, Bureau of Forestry and Walter l. Dunkle

       The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, acting through the Bureau of Forestry, and Walter L. Dunkle are proposing to negotiate an exchange of lands in McHenry and Watson Townships, Lycoming County, PA.

       The Bureau of Forestry is proposing to acquire from Walter Dunkle a parcel of 3.90 acres along the Trout Run Road near the Village of Cammal in McHenry Township.

       In return, the Bureau of Forestry proposes to convey to Walter Dunkle a parcel of 0.50 acre near the junction of T-631 and Pa. Rt. 44 at Torbert, in Watson Township.

       As is the policy of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the public is hereby notified of this exchange. A 30-day period for public inquiry and/or comment will be in effect commencing May 10, 1999 and ending June 8, 1999. Oral or written comments or questions concerning this proposed exchange may be addressed to: Dr. James R. Grace, State Forester, Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry, P. O.        If, in the duration of the 30-day comment period, a significant amount of public concern develops, the Secretary of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources may schedule a public informational meeting.
