Capital Blue Cross and Pennsylvania Blue Shield Community-Rated Group HealthOne Program Rate Increase; Filing No. 00-G

   Capital Blue Cross and Pennsylvania Blue Shield request an increase in the quarterly rates for the Community-Rated Group HealthOne Program. The proposed increase is 27.57% based on third quarter rates. This rate change will produce an estimated additional annual income of $1.7 million, and will affect approximately 1,850 policyholders. An effective date of October 1, 2000, is being requested.

   Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours by appointment at the Insurance Department's office in Harrisburg.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Bharat Patel, Actuary, Insurance Department, Accident and Health Bureau, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
