INSURANCE DEPARTMENT Public Informational Hearing; Mutual-To-Stock Plan of Conversion [28 Pa.B. 2337] The Insurance Department (Department) will hold a public informational hearing regarding the proposed plan of conversion submitted by Pennsylvania Millers Mutual Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania domiciled mutual casualty insurance company. The proposed plan provides for conversion from a mutual casualty insurance company to a stock casualty insurance company and the formation of a mutual holding company and an intermediate stock holding company. The filing was made under the Mutual-to-Stock Conversion Act (40 P. S. § 911-A et seq.). All policyholders and interested persons are invited to attend and participate.
1. Date and Time: June 19, 1998, beginning at 9 a.m.
2. Location: Capitol Associates Building, Suite 200, North Seventh Street, Harrisburg, PA (717) 783-2126.
3. Nature of Hearing: The public informational hearing will provide an opportunity for policyholders and interested persons to present oral comments relevant to the proposed plan of conversion. The proceeding will be recorded and a transcript may be purchased directly from the court reporter.
4. Legal Authority: The public informational hearing will be held under the Mutual-to-Stock Conversion Act (40 P. S. § 911-A et seq.).
