Rate Filing; Keystone Health Plan West; Filing No. 1-DEM-99-KHPW; Demographic Rating Methodology [29 Pa.B. 2628] On April 22, 1999, Keystone Health Plan West submitted a filing requesting to change the rating methodology for groups with 50 or fewer contracts in the western Pennsylvania plan area. The requested methodology would reflect demographic rating by area, industry and average age of the group. This methodology is requested for both KeystoneBlue and CommunityBlue group HMO programs.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Erie.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Cherri Sanders-Jones, Actuary, Insurance Department, Accident and Health Bureau, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
