The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization; clearing and grubbing; removal and disposal of abandoned equipment and structures; grading 35,000 cubic yards; wetland construction; subsurface drain 650 linear feet; ditch excavation 1,550 cubic yards; high velocity erosion control mulch blanket 330 square yards; R-5 rock lining with filter material 2,000 square yards; tree planting 770 each; and seeding 2 acres. This bid issues on May 9, 2014, and bids will be opened on June 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
