Application of Grand View Hospital for Exception to 28 Pa. Code § 153.1(b)

   Under 28 Pa. Code § 51.33 (relating to requests for exceptions), the Department of Health (Department) gives notice that Grand View Hospital has requested an exception to the requirements of 28 Pa. Code § 153.1(b) which require compliance with minimum standards contained in the following publication: Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospital and Healthcare Facilities. Specifically, Grand View requests exemption from the following standards contained in this publication: Section 9.9(a)(1) which requires that endoscopy rooms contain a minimum clear area of 200 square feet.

   The request is on file with the Department.
