Application of Aestique Ambulatory Surgical Center, Inc. for Exception to 28 Pa. Code § 551.21(a)(1) and (2)

   Under 28 Pa. Code § 51.33 (relating to requests for exceptions), the Department of Health (Department) gives notice that Aestique Ambulatory Surgical Center, Inc., has requested an exception to the requirements of 28 Pa. Code § 551.21(a)(1) and (2) which requires that surgical procedures which may be performed in an ambulatory surgical facility are limited to those that do not exceed a total of 4 hours of operating time and a total of 4 hours directly supervised recovery.

   The request is on file with the Department.    Comments received by the Department within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Department before it decides whether to approve or disapprove the request for exception.
