DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES Land Exchange [31 Pa.B. 1865] The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, acting through the Bureau of Forestry, and C & S Lumber Company, Inc. of Roulette, Pennsylvania, are proposing to negotiate an exchange of lands in Cameron and Potter Counties, Pennsylvania.
The Bureau of Forestry is proposing to acquire from C & S Lumber Company, Inc. property consisting of 106 acres of land in Grove Township, Cameron County, completely interior to the Elk State Forest and Sinnemahoning State Park.
In return, the Bureau of Forestry proposes to convey to C & S Lumber Company, Inc. property consisting of 77.5 acres of land along Lehman Run on Hector Township, Potter County.
As is the policy of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the public is hereby notified of this exchange. A 30-day period of public inquiry and/or comment will be in effect commencing April 9, 2001 and ending May 8, 2001.
