  • Draft Environmental Assessment for the Implementation of the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program in the Delaware River Basin; Notice of Availability

     The United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) announces the availability of a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) of the subject proposal. The primary objective is to implement the Delaware River Basin Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) by enrolling 20,000 acres in seven counties of Eastern Pennsylvania (Pike, Monroe, Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware Counties). CREP is a voluntary conservation program for agricultural landowners.

     The FSA is accepting comments regarding this Draft EA for 15 days from this publication date. The Draft EA can be reviewed in person in the FSA offices located at One Credit Union Place, Suite 320, Harrisburg, PA 17110. A copy of the Draft EA can be viewed on the FSA web site, Current National Environmental Policy Act documents section, at http://www.fsa.usda.gov/FSA/webapp? area=home&subject=ecrc&topic=nep-cd.
