STATE POLICE Draft Request for Proposals--Review and Comment Period [31 Pa.B. 2341] Lockheed Martin Management & Data Systems (M&DS), in its role as the systems integrator for the State Police Incident Information Management System (IIMS), will post a draft Request for Proposals (RFP) on the IIMS Program website for vendor review and comment. Vendors' comments will be considered during the preparation and release of the final RFP. The draft RFP will be available on the IIMS Program website at http://www.pspiims.com on or about April 20, 2001.
All procurements under the IIMS Program will be commercial contracts between system vendors and Lockheed Martin M&DS or one of their consortium subcontractors. The State Police will contract with only Lockheed Martin M&DS for the entire IIMS system. After the review and comment period, a single, final RFP will be issued via the IIMS Program website containing specifications for all IIMS components. However, vendors will only propose those systems that are applicable to each vendor. The draft RFP consists of the following Program elements which contain the applicable component system level specifications for IIMS.
* Consoldiated Dispatch Element
* Mobile Office Element
* Enterprise Database Element
* Common Infrastructure Element
Interested vendors are encouraged to review the draft RFP and provided feedback and comments via the IIMS website. Specific instructions for vendors and more detailed information will be available on the IIMS website. There will be no further public notifications of procurement events associated with the IIMS Program. All further notifications will be posted to the IIMS website only.
