Teachers Protective Mutual Life; Rate Filing [31 Pa.B. 2339] Teachers Protective Mutual Life is requesting approval to increase its premium an aggregate 25.2% for the Comprehensive Long Term Care Policy Forms QH-9606-LTC-APC SH-9606-LTC-APC and three associated riders. The maximum increase is 30% which will affect some policy holders with issue ages under 70, while no increase over 15% is planned for policy holders with issue ages over 80. The average premium will increase from $1,395 to $1,747, and will affect 3,466 Commonwealth policyholders. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2001.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's office in Harrisburg.
