The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization; clearing and grubbing; 114,500 cubic yards of grading; 650 linear feet of subsurface drain; 3,800 each of tree planting; and 3.8 acres of seeding. This bid issues April 23, 2010, and bids will be opened on May 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal Government under the authority given it by Pub. L. No. 95-87 dated August 3, 1977, The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and is subject to that Law, and to the Federal Grant for this project.
