Preproposal Conference/Funding Workshop [28 Pa.B. 1847] The Department of Education, Bureau of Vocational-Technical Education, will conduct a preproposal conference/funding workshop on Monday, April 27, 1998 to review funding priorities and application procedures for the following competitive grant program:

Single Parent/Displaced Homemaker and Sex Equity School Districts, Area Vocational-Technical Schools, Intermediate Units, Postsecondary Institutions Grant applications for 1998-99 will be distributed at a preproposal conference/funding workshop. Attendance at these meetings is not a prerequisite for application for this grant program.

The Single Parent/Displaced Homemaker and Sex Equity preproposal conference/funding workshop will be held on Monday, April 27 at the Holiday Inn in Carlisle, on Route 11--1 mile off of Exit 16 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The workshop will begin at 1 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 4 p.m. Registration for this workshop will be 1/2 hour prior to the beginning time.
