The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization, implementation of the erosion and sediment pollution control plan, brush pile 5, diversion and care of water, subsurface drain 990 linear feet, pipe culvert, various diameter smooth interior corrugated polyethylene 320 linear feet, grading 190,000 cubic yards, channel excavation 1,100 cubic yards, rock lining with geotextile 1,425 square yards, permanent pond, seeding 16 acres, fence 1,000 linear feet and wetland construction. This bid issues on April 15, 2016, and bids will be opened on May 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. Bid documents, including drawings in PDF format and Auto-Cad Map 3D format, may be downloaded for free from the Department of Environmental Protection's web site at www.dep.pa.gov/ConstructionContracts. Bid documents and drawings can also be obtained upon payment of $22, plus $8 for postage, which includes sales tax, by calling (717) 787-7820. Auto-Cad Map 3D format drawings can also be purchased on a compact disc (CD) for an additional $5 per CD. Money will not be refunded. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
