The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization, geotextile installation 445 square yards, geotextile removal 445 square yards, ASSHTO No. 1 Aggregate 215 tons, ASSHTO No. 1 aggregate removal 215 tons, 12" compost filter sock installation and maintenance 2,800 linear feet, sock and stake removal 2,800 linear feet, R-4 rock 4 tons, ASSHTO No. 57 aggregate 1 ton, R-4 rock removal 4 tons, ASSHTO No. 57 aggregate removal 1 ton, dust control, clearing and grubbing, grading 1,153,475 square yards, earthen berms 1,100 linear feet, ditch excavation 9,566 cubic yards, rock lining with filter material 4,841 square yards, galvanized wire reno mattress 240 square yards, seeding and mulching 65.5 acres. This bid issues on March 6, 2015, and bids will be opened on March 31, 2015, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $15 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
