   On February 20, 2009, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company, Liberty Insurance Corporation and The First Liberty Insurance Corporation a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.

   The company requests an overall 4.2% increase amounting to $10.4 million annually, to be effective July 1, 2009, for new business and August 5, 2009, for renewal business.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 21, 2009, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
