Joint Application of Pennsylvania-American Water Company and Franklin Manor Utilities, Ltd., for approval of 1) the transfer, by sale, of the water works property and rights of Franklin Manor Utilities, Ltd., to Pennsylvania-American Water Company; 2) the right of Pennsylvania-American Water Company to begin to offer or furnish water service to the public in additional portions of South Franklin Township, Washington County, PA; and 3) the permanent discontinuance by Franklin Manor Utilities, Ltd., of all water service to the public.

       This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before March 23, 1998, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
