DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Shared Ride Community Transportation Service Delivery Pilot Program; Invitation to Submit Letters of Interest [45 Pa.B. 1577]
[Saturday, March 28, 2015]Under 74 Pa.C.S. § 1516(f) (relating to programs of Statewide significance), which provides for a shared ride community transportation service delivery pilot program (Shared Ride Pilot Program), the Department of Transportation (Department) is providing notice to transportation providers, city, county and municipal governments, and other local boards or bodies with interest in designing new ways to deliver and pay for shared ride and community transportation that it will receive letters of interest and applications for the Shared Ride Pilot Program. Letters of interest and applications will be accepted from March 30, 2015, to June 30, 2015. The Department further provides notice of the availability of the Shared Ride Pilot Program models and the framework.
