Proposed Exchange of Property [43 Pa.B. 1556]
[Saturday, March 23, 2013]The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department), acting through the Bureau of Forestry, and Phyllis H. McWilliams are proposing to negotiate an exchange of property interests in Ferguson Township, Centre County.
The Department will convey approximately 2.83 acres to Phyllis H. McWilliams. In return, Phyllis H. McWilliams will convey to the Department approximately 2.83 acres. This exchange of lands will not result in a net gain or a net loss of land to the Rothrock State Forest.
As is the policy of the Department, the public is hereby notified of this exchange. A 30-day period for public inquiry or comment, or both, will be in effect beginning March 23, 2013, and ending April 22, 2013. Oral or written comments or questions concerning this proposed exchange may be addressed to Craig Chapman, Bureau of Forestry, P. O. Box 8552, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8552, (717) 787-0387. Oral or written comments will become part of the official document used in the final decision process.
If, in the duration of the 30-day comment period, a significant amount of public concern develops, the Secretary of the Department may schedule a public informational meeting.
