    Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company; the First Liberty Insurance Corporation; Pennsylvania Homeowners Program

       On March 1, 1996, the Insurance Department received a rate and rule filing from the Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company and the First Liberty Insurance Corporation for their Pennsylvania Homeowners Program.

       The companies request an overall rate increase of +3.0%, amounting to $542,000 annually, to be effective May 1, 1996, for new business policies and effective June 21, 1996, for renewal policies.

       Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 30, 1996, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

       Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.

       Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Larry Polin, Actuary, Insurance Department, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, Bureau of Property and Casualty Insurance, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
