Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield; COMPLETEcare Plan; Rate Filing [33 Pa.B. 1552] By filing no. 1-CCP-03-HBCBS, Highmark, Inc. d/b/a Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, requests approval to increase the premium rates for its COMPLETEcare Plan. The filing requests an increase of about 19.3% of current premium, or an average of $34.93 per contract per month. This will affect about 36,000 contract holders and will produce additional annual premium income of about $15 million. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2003.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's regional offices in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Erie.
