The principal items of work and approximate quantities include clearing and grubbing, 91,500 cubic yards of grading, 425 cubic yards of ditch excavation, 485 square yards of R-4 rock lining with filter material, 300 square yards of R-5 rock lining with filter material, 350 square yards of high velocity erosion control mulch blanket, wetland construction, gas line relocation and 9.5 acres of seeding. This project issues on March 20, 2009, and bids will be opened on April 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal Government under the authority given it by Pub. L. No. 95-87 dated August 3, 1977, The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and is subject to that Law, and to the Federal grant for this project.
