[Saturday, March 19, 2011]On March 4, 2011, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Nationwide Affinity Insurance Company of America a filing for a rate level change for Private Passenger Automobile insurance.
The company requests an overall 5.0% increase amounting to $11,417,863 annually, to be effective July 4, 2011. This overall figure represents an average; the effect of this filing on the rates for individual consumers may vary.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to May 3, 2011, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
