 The Department of Community and Economic Development (Department) gives notice of the continuation of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program which authorizes the award of tax credits to businesses that make contributions to qualified scholarship organizations, educational improvement organizations and prekindergarten scholarship organizations determined by the Department to meet the requirements of the act of May 17, 2001 (P. L. 4, No. 4) (Act 4). As required by Act 4, the current list of qualified scholarship organizations, educational improvement organizations and prekindergarten scholarship organizations appears in Annex A and can be found on the Department's web site at www.newpa.com/EITC. Program guidelines, which establish the process whereby a qualified scholarship organization, an educational improvement organization or a prekindergarten scholarship organization may be included on the list of organizations published by the Department, are available by contacting the Department's Center for Business Financing Tax Credit Division or by accessing the Department's web site at www.newpa.com/EITC.
