[Saturday, March 17, 2007]On March 1, 2007, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company and The First Liberty Insurance Corporation a filing for a proposed rate level change for private passenger auto insurance.
Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company requests an overall 1.1% increase amounting to $1.343 million annually, to be effective June 25, 2007, for new business and July 30, 2007, for renewal business.
The First Liberty Insurance Corporation requests an overall 1.0% increase amounting to $1.131 million annually, to be effective June 25, 2007, for new business and July 30, 2007, for renewal business.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 30, 2007 the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
