Special Meeting of the State Conservation Commission [38 Pa.B. 1102]
[Saturday, March 1, 2008]The State Conservation Commission (Commission) will hold a special meeting on March 13, 2008, at 9 a.m. in the VIP Room of the Farm Show Complex, 2300 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110, to act on the David and Eric Gemmill nutrient management plan, a hog farm operation in Delta, PA, York County. Access to the proposed nutrient management plan is available at the Commission Office, 2301 North Cameron Street, Room 407, Harrisburg, PA 17110 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Written comments regarding the proposed nutrient management plan must be provided to the Commission at least 7 days prior to the March 13th meeting. The public will be provided an opportunity at the March 13th meeting to provide verbal comments to the Commission in relation to the proposed nutrient management plan. Anyone planning to provide verbal comment at the March 13th meeting is asked to contact the Commission at least 1 day prior to the meeting so you can be registered to provide comment. The Dave and Eric Gemmill operation currently has a CAFO NPDES permit application in with the Department of Environmental Protection, and any approved nutrient management plan for this operation will become part of the CAFO permit application.
