    Application for Lease of Right-of-Way

       The Department of Transportation (Department), under to the authority contained in section 2002(c) of The Administrative Code (71 P. S. § 512(c)) and 67 Pa. Code § 495.4 (relating to application procedure), gives notice that an application to lease highway right-of-way has been submitted to the Department by Jerry Thorpe, seeking to lease highway right-of-way located on the easterly side of relocated East Street at the intersection with Mt. Pleasant Road in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, containing 66,612+ square feet or 1.5292+ acres adjacent to SR 0279, for purposes of landscaping, erection of a small fence along the right-of-way for Mt. Pleasant Road for litter/noise prevention and maintenance of adjacent property.

       Interested persons are invited to submit, within 30 days from the publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin, written comments, suggestions and/or objections regarding the approval of this application to Ray S. Hack, P.E., District Engineer, Engineering District 11-0, 45 Thoms Run Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
