PENNSYLVANIA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY Comment Period for the Wireless E-911 State Plan [35 Pa.B. 1399] Under 35 P. S. § 7021.2, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (Agency) gives notice that the Wireless E-911 State Plan (E-911 State Plan) providing for all aspects of the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of a Statewide integrated wireless E-911 system in accordance with the FCC E-911 Order is available for public notice and opportunity to comment.
The E-911 State Plan is on file with the Agency. Persons may receive a copy of the E-911 State Plan by requesting a copy from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, 2605 Interstate Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110, (717) 651-2001, fax (717) 651-2040, rflinn@ state.pa.us or mmusser@state.pa.us. The E-911 State Plan is also available on the Agency's website: www.pema.state.pa.us.
Persons who wish to comment may do so by sending a letter by mail, e-mail or facsimile to the address listed previously.
Comments received by the Agency within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Agency before it decides whether to approve or disapprove the E-911 State Plan.
