WIC Program Public Meetings [36 Pa.B. 776] The Department of Health (Department) announces two public meetings on the following dates at the locations indicated to receive comments and suggestions about the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC Program).

Harrisburg, PA 17120The Department invites comments on all aspects of the WIC Program's operation. General comments on other issues pertinent to the WIC Program are also requested. Persons wishing to give testimony at the public meetings are requested to preregister with the Pennsylvania WIC Program Office by calling Bonnie Mellott at (717) 783-1289. Persons unable to attend are encouraged to submit comments to the Department of Health, Division of WIC, 7th and Forster Streets, Room 610, Health and Welfare Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Written comments will be accepted until May 31, 2006.
Written comments and those presented at the meetings will be used in developing the State Plan of Program Operation and Administration for the WIC Program for the 2007 Federal Fiscal Year, which runs October 1, 2006, to September 30, 2007.
