HEARING BOARDLake Raylean Corporation, Appellant v. DEP, Appellee; EHB Doc. No. 94-254-MR [26 Pa.B. 637] The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Lake Raylean Corporation (Appellant) have agreed to a settlement of the above-captioned matter. This case involves an appeal from the Department's issuance of an administrative compliance order to Lake Raylean Corporation on August 30, 1994. The administrative compliance order requires Appellant to hire a professional engineer and to submit a permit application for its community water system in Bridgewater Township, Susquehanna County, PA.
The parties have agreed to a settlement, the major provisions of which include the Department's agreement not to make special monitoring by Lake Raylean to evaluate the possible influence of surface water upon Lake Raylean's well a condition of permitting and Lake Raylean's agreement to obtain necessary permits, provide disinfection for its system, and hire a certified operator.
