[Saturday, December 9, 2006]On November 14, 2006, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Progressive Direct Insurance Company a filing for a rate level change for private passenger automobile insurance.
The company requests an overall 6.0% decrease amounting to -$4.699 million annually, to be effective April 9, 2007, for new business and May 19, 2007, for renewal business.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to January 13, 2007, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Michael P.
