Geisinger Health Plan Employer Group Base Medical Rate Filing; Rate Filing [34 Pa.B. 6477] On November 15, 2004, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Geisinger Health Plan a filing for a rate increase of 20.36% for the base medical plan. The proposed effective date is April 1, 2005. This filing will impact approximately 78,000 contracts and generate additional revenue of $73 million.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to February 15, 2005, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
