INSURANCE DEPARTMENT Application and Request for a Certificate of Authority [34 Pa.B. 6477] Lackawanna National Insurance Company has applied for a Certificate of Authority to operate as a stock casualty insurance company in this Commonwealth. The initial filing was received on November 8, 2004, and was made under the requirements set forth under 15 Pa.C.S. §§ 1101--1110 (relating to Business Corporation Law of 1988). Persons wishing to comment on the grounds of public or private interest to the issuance of the Insurance Department's (Department) order approving this Certificate of Authority are invited to submit a written statement to the Department within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include name, address and telephone number of the interested party, identification of the application to which the statement is addressed and a concise statement with sufficient detail to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement.
