    Application and Request for Conversion of a Mutual Insurance Corporation to a Stock Insurance Corporation and Subsequent Acquisition of the Stock Insurance Corporation

       Mercer Mutual Insurance Company filed an application to convert from a mutual insurance corporation to a stock insurance corporation, under the Mutual-to Stock Conversion Act, 40 P. S. § 911 et seq. Integral to this filing is an application for Mercer Insurance Group, Inc. to purchase 100% of the issued and outstanding stock of the converted insurance corporation, made under 40 P. S. § 991.1402 et seq. Persons wishing to comment on the grounds of public or private interest to the issuance of the Insurance Department's (Department) order approving the conversion and subsequent acquisition are invited to submit a written statement to the Department within 30 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include the name, address and telephone number of the interested party; identification of the application to which the statement is addressed; and a concise statement with sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement.
