    Aetna Health, Inc. (HMO); Premium Rate Filing for Pennsylvania Individual Advantage Plans

     On November 22, 2011, Aetna Health, Inc. submitted a filing for the Individual Advantage Plans, requesting an overall aggregate rate increase of 2.3% with additional rate increases to be implemented on a quarterly basis on policy anniversaries over the subsequent three calendar quarters. The filing will affect approximately 19,169 policyholders. An effective date of April 1, 2012, is re- quested.

     In addition, the filing proposes certain benefit enhancements.

     Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to February 29, 2012, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

     A copy of the filing is available on the Insurance Department's (Department) web site at www.insurance. pa.gov. To access the filing, under ''How to Find . . .'' click on ''View Current Rate Filings.''

     Copies of the filing are also available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Department's Harrisburg Regional Office.

     Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to James Sabater, Actuary, Bureau of Accident and Health Insurance, Insurance Department, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, jsabater@pa.gov within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
