Addendum to Storm Relief Advantage Grant Program Projects Regarding Rebates and Incentives Provided by Others [41 Pa.B. 6745]
[Saturday, December 10, 2011]The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) announces an addendum to the Storm Relief Advantage Grant Program (grant program) currently described in the program guidelines located on the Department web site as described as follows. The subject addendum pertains to utility rebates or incentives made available to grantees. Revisions have been made to the application and guidance.
The grant program provides up to 50% reimbursement grants, to a maximum of $9,500, to assist small businesses in this Commonwealth to recover from the effects of hurricane Irene or tropical storm Lee through the acquisition of energy efficient or pollution prevention equipment or processes.
An eligible applicant must be a for-profit small business owner whose business or facility is located within this Commonwealth. All Commonwealth small businesses are eligible, including but not limited to manufacturers, retailers, service providers, mining businesses and agricultural concerns. The project to which the grant will apply must be located within the following Commonwealth counties (as of November 18, 2011): Adams, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Bradford, Bucks, Cambria, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lacka- wanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montgomery, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, Wyoming and York.

The Department will continue accepting applications until December 31, 2011.
