[Saturday, November 29, 2014]The act of September 24, 2014 (P. L. 2458, No. 132) (Act 132) designated the Department of Public Welfare as the Department of Human Services. Act 132 became effective November 24, 2014.
Act 132 deems a reference to the Department of Public Welfare in a regulation as a reference to the Department of Human Services. Accordingly, throughout the regulations in 55 Pa. Code (relating to public welfare) and additional titles of the Pennsylvania Code, references to the Department of Public Welfare will be updated, as appropriate, to the Department of Human Services.
