DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Sale of Land No Longer Required for Transportation [36 Pa.B. 7180]
[Saturday, November 25, 2006]The Department of Transportation (Department) under 2003(e) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 513(e)(7)), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department. The parcel is irregular shape, located eastbound at 63.5 mile post adjacent to Interstate 0078, in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County. The parcel is an uneconomic remnant approximately 13.6 acres. The sale of the property is in an as is condition. Interested public agencies are invited to express their interest in purchasing the parcel within 30 calendar days from this notice.
