    Petition of PECO Energy Company

    [44 Pa.B. 7425]
    [Saturday, November 22, 2014]

P-2014-2451772. PECO Energy Company. Petition of PECO Energy Company for approval of three proposals designed to increase access to natural gas service. Recognizing the new abundance of shale natural gas, PECO Energy Company is seeking to address, through a variety of different strategies, the financial burdens associated with PECO Energy Company's existing natural gas main extension process that may deter some prospective customers from converting a portion of their energy needs to natural gas. These proposals are designed to increase PECO Energy Company customers' access to natural gas service.

Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). Filings must be made with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Second Floor, Commonwealth Keystone Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on Administrative Law Judge Angela T. Jones and PECO Energy Company, on or before December 8, 2014. The documents filed in support of the petition are available for inspection and copying at the Secretary's Bureau of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and can also be reviewed at the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov or at the petitioner's business address.
