FISH AND BOAT COMMISSION Change to List of Class A Wild Trout Waters; Young Womans Creek, Clinton County [34 Pa.B. 6288] The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) has removed a section of Young Womans Creek from the list of Class A Wild Trout Streams as published at 34 Pa.B. 4655 (August 21, 2004). Specifically, the Commission removed Young Womans Creek, Section 02, Clinton County, from Beechwood Trail downstream to 1.2 kilometers upstream of the confluence with the Left Branch of Young Womans Creek, a distance of 5.7 miles. The Commission removed this section of stream, which was listed as a Class A wild brown trout water, because the Commission documented the total brown trout biomass to be below the set criterion of at least 40 kg/hg for two consecutive stream examinations. By removing this water from the Class A wild trout streams list, the Commission will increase its flexibility in how it manages the stream section without jeopardizing water quality protection.
