[Saturday, November 12, 2011]On October 10, 2011, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.
The Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company requests an overall 2% increase amounting to $7,909,216 annually, to be effective April 16, 2012, for new business and May 17, 2012, for renewal business. This overall figure represents an average; the effect of this filing on the rates for individual consumers may vary.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to December 9, 2011, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
