Climate Change Advisory Committee; 2008 Meeting Schedule

   The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) announces the following 2008 meetings of the Climate Change Advisory Committee (Committee). Each meeting will convene from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 105, Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17105. Committee meetings scheduled for the 2009 calendar year will be announced in a future notice of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. The meeting dates for 2008 are as follows:

   The Committee is required by the Pennsylvania Climate Change Act of 2008 (P. L. 935, Act 70) (Act), effective July 9, 2008, for purposes of advising the Department on implementation of the Act. These activities include, but are not limited to, the designation of a voluntary greenhouse gas registry, the delivery of a greenhouse gas inventory report, the creation of an impacts assessment and the development of a climate change action plan.
