State-Owned Real Estate for Sale Cameron County [44 Pa.B. 6854]
[Saturday, October 25, 2014]The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department) will accept bids for the purchase of 1,125 ± acres of fee oil, gas and mineral estate (no surface estate) being identified as Warrant 2334, Tax ID No. 7-02-0-001-000-000 and DCNR Tract No. 427 in Shippen Township, Cameron County. Because Commonwealth ownership of this estate does not include surface ownership, this isolated, surplus parcel cannot be managed for State forest purposes. Revenues from this disposition will be used directly for forest conservation with a clear, long-term benefit to this Commonwealth's State forest system. The property is being sold as-is. All bids, whether delivered or sent by mail, must be received by the Department on or before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. A 10% bid bond is required with all bids.
