[Saturday, October 14, 2006]On April 12, 2006, Kristie C. Oldfield, unlicensed, of York, York County, was ordered to cease and desist from any practice of nursing in this Commonwealth and assessed a civil penalty of $3,000 based on findings she used the words practical nurse, licensed practical nurse or the letters PN or LPN in connection with her name when she was not duly licensed to practice and she furnished, sold or obtained by fraud or misrepresentation a record of any qualification required for a license.

This adjudication and order represent the final State Board of Nursing (Board) decision in this matter. It may be appealed to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania by the filing of a petition for review with that court in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure. Individuals who take an appeal to the Commonwealth Court must serve the Board with a copy of the petition for review. The Board contact for receiving service of appeals is the previously named Board counsel.
