The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation has approved the ''Swatara Creek Watershed Conservation Plan'' and is placing the Swatara Creek Watershed and all tributaries covered in the Plan in Dauphin, Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties, on the Pennsylvania Rivers Conservation Registry (Registry).

The Swatara Creek Watershed Association, Inc. submitted the Swatara Creek Watershed Conservation Plan and other required information to gain Registry status.

After review of the Plan and other information, the Department has determined that the Keystone Rivers Conservation Program requirements have been satisfied and places the following in the Registry:

       2.  All tributary streams within the Swatara Creek Watershed.

This action becomes effective today, October 14, 2000. Projects identified in the Swatara Creek Watershed Conservation Plan become eligible for implementation, development or acquisition grant funding through the Department's Rivers Conservation Program.
