Keystone Health Plan East; Medically Underwritten Individual HMO Options Rate Filing [42 Pa.B. 638]
[Saturday, January 28, 2012]Keystone Health Plan East requests approval to increase the rate for the Medically Underwritten Individual HMO Options. The requested average rate increase is 9.8%. The proposed rate increase would affect approximately 30,000 existing members and would produce additional income of about $7.1 million annually. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2012.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 5, 2012, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg office.
